Product Introduction
Flat expanded metal is a customizable product with a complete range of specifications. Available materials include high-quality carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel (304/316) and aluminum alloy . Product dimensions and materials can be flexibly selected according to requirements, making it suitable for various applications from light-duty decoration to heavy-duty industrial protection.
The product is first formed through an expansion process and then processed by cold rolling and flattening to form a mesh panel with a smooth surface. Its performance is mainly determined by standard and customizable dimensional parameters.
This product is widely used in ventilation grilles for electronic equipment, precision filters, architectural decorative panels, walkway treads, machine guards, construction reinforcement parts, truck bed linings and municipal guardrails.

Other sizes are available upon request. For larger sizes, reinforcement is required to prevent expanded metal panels from sagging. For expanded metal panel with mesh bending frame, the mesh width shall be equal to the panel width; for expanded metal panel with angle steel frames, bending shall be considered, so the mesh width shall be 4–5 cm smaller than the panel width. Frame size: aluminum angle: 30 × 30 × 2 mm (thickness); hang-in angle: 30 × 30 × 2 mm (thickness); for panels larger than 1200 × 2000 mm, 3 mm thick is recommended. | |||||||
Production Workflow
Raw material
The steel plates used in our production are supplied by trusted companies such as Baosteel and Shougang Group. When materials are received, our quality assurance personnel conduct comprehensive inspections, including tests of chemical composition and measurements of size and other specifications.
Stamping
We are equipped with 4000 mm ultra-wide expanded metal production equipment, as well as flattening and leveling machines. With over 1,000 precision expanded metal molds developed internally, we can manufacture expanded metal in larger dimensions. Based on application requirements, we are able to design or select new mesh patterns to satisfy needs related to strength, ventilation, appearance, and shading.
Flattening
Equipped with advanced fabrication machinery such as cutting, flattening, bending, and welding equipment, we are capable of delivering customized processing solutions for expanded metal products.
Leveling
Through the use of high-precision leveling equipment, we guarantee flat mesh surfaces, consistent openings, and excellent flatness tolerance. With multiple CNC leveling machines and a skilled technical team, we optimize production parameters and maintain strict quality control to deliver high-quality products.
Surface treatment
Our advanced surface treatment technologies, including galvanizing, powder coating, anodizing, and PVDF coating, enable our expanded metal products to achieve extended service life and outstanding architectural aesthetics.
Quality inspection
